venue location: Carpenter Nature Center, Hastings, MN

describe your day in 3 words: Magical Summer Evening

your song: Howling at Nothing, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

moment that made you laugh: When it was time to exchange rings we totally didn’t know what to do. So I took control and swiped my ring from Ken and put it on myself and put Ken’s ring on the wrong hand. Oops! After the ceremony we had our own private redo which went much better without all the pressure of an audience

vow that made you tear up: We were both choking back tears the whole ceremony.

moment that made you scratch your head: One of the toasts ended with the speaker accidentally saying “here’s to Kenny and Renee!”

(Renee is one of Ken’s sisters)

love is never having to...: Be weird alone.

advice for future brides: One long deep breath. Before responding to questions or comments take one long deep breath.
