real bride inspo :: a + c :: a joyful starry night

10.7.2017

describe your day in 3 words: Magical. Joyful. Perfect.

your song: It Just Comes Natural - George Strait

moment that made you laugh: Our ushers had brought coolers behind the last row of chairs so they could hand us each a cold beer when we walked back down the aisle together as husband and wife.

vow that made you tear up: He's the crier, and he was done for long before the vows started.

moment that made you scratch your head: We almost forgot to sign our marriage certificate! Thankfully my maid of honor said something as everyone was leaving so we quickly dug those out and got all the signatures while all the needed parties were still there.

love is never having to...: change who you are, they have committed to loving you the rest of their days for who you are not who you think they want you to be.

advice for future brides: Have someone you can count on to take on the load (and stress) of planning a wedding. Whether it's a bride's maid, mother or mother-in-law, or a wedding planner, they will be a lifesaver!

vendors: Florist (&props): Hooper's Farm Garden, they were amazing. I just told them the ideas I liked and they did the rest, and the flowers were exactly what I wanted.
Cake: Brulotte's Cakery & Sweet created a perfect 'birch tree' frosting on a shortened timeline, and the flavors we chose were delicious.
Caterer: Chef's Pride Larry lived up to his reputation, so easy to work with and handled last minute needs without batting an eye.

And my dress, of course, was gorgeous! Almost everyone complimented how beautiful I was in it!!
